EVENT TIMELINE!
DJ Myint, will be returning to spin at our Yoga for Pride celebration this year. An Ann Arbor–based DJ, Nicole has become a beloved presence in the local music scene, known for bringing people together through vibrant, feel-good sets that blend genres and keep the dance floor moving. She has performed everywhere from community events and local venues to major stages with University of Michigan athletics and Detroit professional sports teams. Beyond the music, DJ Myint is deeply connected to the community and has long been a supporter of inclusive spaces that celebrate joy, connection, and pride. We’re so excited to have her energy back with us this year.
We’re excited to have D + W’s Street Eatery joining us as the food truck for Yoga for Pride this year. Known for their diverse, street-food–inspired menu, they bring a range of flavorful options that make it easy for everyone to find something delicious. It also makes it extra special that Art actually went to high school with the founder, making this collaboration feel like a true local, community connection.
This Year’s Beneficiaries
At Zion Well, our values—inclusivity, purpose, education, sustainability, and service—guide everything we do. This year we chose the Equality Michigan and Stand with Trans because their missions align deeply with our commitment to community, mental health, and advocacy.
Equality Michigan Action Network (EMAN) is the statewide political advocacy voice for Michigan's LGBTQ+ community. EMAN works to mobilize voters, educate the public, and hold elected officials accountable to ensure that every LGBTQ+ Michigander can live with dignity, safety, and opportunity. Through grassroots organizing, community engagement, and advocacy in Lansing, EMAN builds power for LGBTQ+ people and their families across the state. Their work helps protect hard-won rights while advancing a future where all Michiganders can thrive.
Stand with Trans provides essential resources for transgender youth and their families, offering mentorship, support groups, and educational programs. Mental health is at the heart of both their mission and ours. We recognize that belonging and self-acceptance are critical for well-being, and we stand in solidarity with organizations that provide life-saving support to LGBTQIA2+ individuals.
By supporting these organizations, we are taking action beyond the yoga mat—creating a community where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported in their journey of self-discovery and healing.
